Turtle celebration with the Kings and Queens of Sargassum will follow at the Palm Street Pier from 7:00 p.m. with Hula dancers and Island drummers.
Surfrider and Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue and Celebration. 9 am, on the beach in front of Bahia mar with registration at the Tiki Beach Access (end of White Sands Street) til noon. The Great Texas Catamaran Race is one of the premier long distance beach cat races in the country. This is distance racing at its best. In its 10th year, it is again expected to attract world class racing teams. Awards for each class will be given in addition to the First to Finish trophy.
